Features the song "Melodies of Life" from FF9. Unlike prior FF singles, this is a 5-inch CD in a full-sized, slim CD case.

First pressing: Comes in a slimline CD case with no back paper cover. Includes a semi-transparent slipcover and a sheet with two stickers of the FF9 logo. The liner notes include lyrics to Japanese "Melodies" in Japanese (kana); lyrics to the English version of "Melodies" in English; and lyrics to "Galway no Sora" in kana. When purchased new, the shrinkwrap has a silver foil sticker in the lower-right corner.

Other pressings: Comes in a slimline CD case with no back paper cover. Instead of a slipcase, it has a larger obi that wraps around the left spine and covers the entire back side of the jewel case. The liner notes content is the same as the first pressing. I got my copy used, so I don't know if it comes with anything else.
