Contains vocalized versions of songs from Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy VI, with one original track. While Nobuo Uematsu did most of the composing, many others were involved in the music arrangements. One thing that sets this apart from the first FF Vocal Collections is that each song has an short paragraph telling more about it.

Squaresoft version: The title on the liner notes is silver foil. Liner notes contain lyrics, a message from Nobuo Uematsu, and a message from Risa Ohki. Each song also has a short paragraph explaining more about it. Tracklist is in mixed English, French, and Japanese (kana). The obi is beige-colored.

Squaresoft re-release: Barring any corrections or slight text changes that might have been made in the liner notes that I didn't catch, the liner notes and music are the same as the original SS version. The only real differences are the new catalog number, and minor changes to the obi and the back cover, which you can see by comparing the scans above. Also, the obi is white and, strangely enough, the printing on it is not as sharp as the original SS release.

SonMay version: The title on the liner notes is red, and the cover does not have the small medical-like symbol that the SS cover has. Includes a sticker of the liner notes cover, measuring about 4.25 inches square. Liner notes are almost the same as the SS version, with some significant changes: Also, interestingly enough, the back cover of the liner notes does not have credits for the producers, engineers, artwork, and other credits that the back cover of the SS version has.

Interesting note: The date of release on the Squaresoft re-release is listed as 11/25/95 (the date of the original Squaresoft release), although it was actually re-released on 10/1/04.
