The CDs come in a regular-sized jewel case. The inside tray flips up to hold both CDs. The liner notes include the tracklist in mixed English and Japanese (kana), with English translations; messages from the main composers Hidenori Iwasaki and Ryo Yamazaki; CGI artwork of some of the characters; comments on each song by Iwasaki, Yamazaki, and original series composer Kumi Tanioka; and hand-drawn artwork of some of the characters. Also comes with a Square Enix point card.
Also includes a small flyer, on one side advertising a "soundtrack campaign" that ran from Dec. 1, 2009, to Feb. 28, 2010; and on the other side advertising various Square Enix CDs involved in the campaign. |
The tracklist includes English translations of each song title, even if the title is originally in English, so there are quite a few redundancies. In the tracklisting below, the staff translation is in bold italics, while my own translation (when applicable) is in parentheses.
Titles with a star ( * ) in front were composed by Iwasaki. Titles with a plus sign ( + ) in front were composed by Yamazaki. Titles with a number sign ( # ) were composed by Tanioka. Multiple symbols means the songs were a collaboration between the respective composers.
