| This was a promotional CD with a mixture of songs from various Final Fantasy CDs. I don't know how people got it. Comes in slimline jewel case. The fold-out liner notes have the tracklist with the songs' original names, in mixed English and Japanese (kana); a brief FF series discography; information about Nobuo Uematsu's CD "Phantasmagoria"; information about "Final Fantasy 1987-1994"; and information about "F.F. Mix," both of which were released in 1994. And no, I have no idea why this CD has a crying baby on the cover. |

U.S. version of the "Limited Selection" promo music CD for Crystal Bearers that was given out with preorders for the game from Best Buy, while supplies lasted. It comes in a cardboard sleeve with liner notes. The liner notes have the tracklist in English, and messages in English from composers Hidenori Iwasaki and Ryo Yamazaki. It does not originally have an obi. See the "Limited Selection" listing below for more information about the original CD.
All the songs on this CD can be found on the official soundtrack, EXCEPT for track 1, which I believe is unique to the various preorder bonus CDs. I don't seem to recognize it as part of any of the songs on the official soundtrack. |

Promotional music CD for Crystal Bearers. I'm not clear on the exact details, but from what I can understand on Square Enix's site, I believe this was originally given out to Square Enix members who registered their game on SE's site, using the SE point card that came with the game. (The game was released in Japan on Nov. 12, 2009, and the deadline to register was Nov. 15, so there was a very small window of time to get this CD.) It was later given out in Australia (and possibly across Europe; I'm not sure) with preorders for the game from EB Games, while supplies lasted. Apparently the song list was determined by member votes on SE's site. I believe the songs are the same as those on the above "Excerpts From the Music Collections" CD.
All the songs on this CD can be found on the official soundtrack, EXCEPT for track 1, which I believe is unique to the various preorder bonus CDs. I don't seem to recognize it as part of any of the songs on the official soundtrack. The tracklist is in mixed English and Japanese (kana). |

Contains music to the sequel game "Final Fantasy IV: The After Years" as well as some bonus rearrangements of music from the main FF4 game. I believe all the bonus songs were taken straight from the soundtrack for the Nintendo DS version of FF4, considering the track times are practically identical.
This CD was included in the limited-edition Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection Ultimate Pack, which also had a PSP release of FF4 and the sequel, FF4: The After Years, and a hardcover artbook. The CD came in a cardboard folder-like case with the liner notes printed on the inside cover. The CD tray is clear plastic with an illustration of Kain underneath. The liner notes include the tracklist in mixed English and Japanese (kana), and music credits in English. Interesting note: The tracklist has only 18 titles, but 19 show up when you put the CD in a player. The "hidden" track is an arrangement of "Troian Beauty" and comes right after track 18. No credits are listed for it, but if all the bonus songs were indeed taken straight from the DS soundtrack, then it was most likely arranged by Junya Nakano. |

| Contains music taken from the various FF8 CDs. This 5-inch CD came packaged as a bonus with the Japanese PC version of FF8. There are two versions of the FF8 PC whose only difference I know of is simply the art on the CDs: The first pressing had discs with art by Yoshitaka Amano; with subsequent pressings, the discs had plain purple drawings of the main characters. Music content for both music CDs is the same. |

| It's sketchy how people got this CD. I think it was generally included in preorders for the Japanese FF10 game at some Japanese retailers. But NCSX (which has a great description of the CD) and JpopHelp were also selling the CD alone. The CD comes in a white cardboard case that has a hole so you can see the CD, which then slides into a clear plastic slipcase that has a blue water design. |

Promotional CD. I don't know how people got this CD. Comes in a slimline case with no printed back cover. Does not include an obi. The liner notes are just 2 pages, with the tracklist in Japanese (kana) and illustrations by Tomomi Kobayashi. Yes, it's another CD with this name. Promo music CD that was apparently given out during the Square Enix Party 2007. It comes in a clear slimline case with no liner notes, cover, or obi. The FF11 song "Federation of Windurst" on this CD is longer than the one found on the FF11 soundtrack; I don't have any information about the non-FF songs on this CD. |

Comes in a foldout cardboard case with no separate liner notes or obi. The inside flaps have a message from Uematsu Radio producer Kensuke Matsushita in Japanese (kana), and the tracklist in mixed English and kana. I believe this set was available only through Nobuo Uematsu's fan club, but I'm not certain, nor do I know the exact conditions you needed to fufill in order to get it. There are 3 CDs total: two with all talking by Uematsu and various other personas, and a third, bonus disc with remixes of various Final Fantasy songs. |
