    Tracklist
    Buy re-release from Play-Asia
    Buy re-release from CD Japan

According to CD Japan, this soundtrack has the game's background music (from the movie sequences plus extra tracks) that were not included in the previous OST. Thirty of the orchestra-performed tracks were selected according to requests made through the internet. Includes many tracks that were not used in the game parts. A bonus track is a new English version of "Melodies of Life." The CD also includes a song from FF7 and a song from FF3.

Squaresoft version: The liner notes include: tracklist in mixed English and Japanese (kana); a short message from Uematsu followed by 2 pages of various CG shots from the game; longer writings from Uematsu titled "Nobuo Uematsu's diary essay - Rieko's overalls" (at least that's how I'm translating it) with CG game scenes intersperced throughout; illustrations of various airships; and lyrics to the English "Melodies of Life" in English. Also comes with customer survey card.

Square Enix re-release: The liner notes content is the same as the SS version. Otherwise, barring any corrections or slight text changes that might have been made to the text that I didn't catch, the liner notes, slipcase, CDs and music are the same as the original SS version. The only real differences are the new catalog number and the removal of all DigiCube information and the addition of Square Enix info to the liner notes. Also does NOT come with a survey card.

EverAnime version: The liner notes have the same layout and content as the SS version, EXCEPT that practically all of the pages are out of order in the copy that I have. I'm not even going to try to explain how they're out of whack because that's how messed-up they are, but it does have all the content of the SS version -- just the pages are not in the correct order. This may have been corrected in subsequent printings. Also comes with a customer survey card.

Top Circle version: The liner notes have the same layout and content as the SS version, EXCEPT that it is missing the last 6 pages of Uematsu's diary essay. This may have been corrected in other printings of the album. Also, all company names have been removed from the credits.

The below tracklist might have some errors; I have to re-check it. Against my normal practice, some of my translations below are not exact; for example, track 14 translates roughly into "Annihilation of mist." But I felt it was better to keep it as "Disappearing mist."
