Contains music to the Final Fantasy III game for the Nintendo DS, along with arranged tracks that I don't think are found in the game. The music has been re-arranged for the DS from the original Famicom version and there are some songs that weren't on the Famicom soundtrack, so I recommend getting this CD even if you have the previous FF3 soundtrack.

The soundtrack includes a DVD (region 2) with the game's opening sequence, a promotional video, and an interview with Nobuo Uematsu and others. The soundtrack with the DVD has not been labeled as a "first pressing" or "limited edition," so I'm assuming that all pressings will include the DVD.

    Square Enix version:

Comes in a fold-out cardboard case. Does not originally come with an obi. There are no separate liner notes; the tracklist is printed in Japanese (kana) on an inside panel, and all music and production credits are printed in English (what's up with that, I wonder?) on the inside center panel. Also comes with a Square Enix point card.

Names of towns, people and places may be incorrect, as I relied on an FAQ for the English names. They will have to be verified.
